Details: Guest Chef Bring Authentic Peranakan Cuisine To Fiji
InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is delighted to announce the arrival of acclaimed guest chef Alvin Leong from Crowne Plaza Changi Airport.
Chef Alvin is a professional chef, food/ restaurant concept designer, recipe creator, creative menu set-up expert and brand ambassador. He will be showcasing his culinary expertise and bringing the vibrant flavours of Singaporean cuisine to the resort throughout the month of July. This exciting collaboration promises to take guests on a unique gastronomic journey, offering a tantalising fusion of traditional and contemporary Peranakan dishes.
As part of the dining experience, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in the flavours of Singapore through a variety of unique offerings.
The Kama Lounge & Bar will be transformed into a bustling street-style hawker food destination, featuring pop-up stalls that showcase beloved Singaporean delicacies. From savoury satay skewers to aromatic pastry shells, guests can immerse themselves in Singapore’s vibrant street food scene without leaving the resort.
Additionally, Sanasana Restaurant will host weekly buffets curated by Chef Alvin, where guests can savour an array of Peranakan specialities and traditional dishes. The buffet will provide an excellent opportunity for diners to explore the diverse flavours and textures of Singaporean cuisine in a relaxed and elegant setting.
