Denarau Island

Aerial view of Sofitel fiji resort and spa on Denarau Island Nadi, Western Division

Denarau Island is the central tourism hub of Fiji. With more than nine major hotel options, including world-recognised names such as Sheraton, Sofitel, Radisson, Hilton, and the Westin, among others. The Marina at Port Denarau provides Fiji’s finest off-resort dining and shopping experience.  While working up a hunger walking around the premium shops and handicraft retailers, the many eclectic dining options available include steak, seafood, Indian, and many traditional Fijian cuisines.  Denarau Island is also the launching pad for the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands, and being in very close proximity to Nadi Airport only adds to Denarau’s draw.
