At Beachcomber Island, we have four-five styles of accommodation: Private Lodges, Oceanfront Bures, Oceanfront Rooms, Beachfront Bures, and Dormitories. All have comfortable beds, hot showers, and bathroom facilities. Private rooms include a refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, ceiling fans, and a private deck with sun loungers. Staying in a traditional Fijian ‘Bure’ is a magical experience, it’s cool in warm temperatures, filled with decorative charm, an ideal place to relax! f you love fishing, our wonderful warm waters are excellent for ‘Big Game’ fishing conditions. The ultra-deep ocean and a labyrinth of reefs and passages make for an exciting place to fish.
Game fish caught here include:
Wahoo (probably the fastest fish in the ocean)
Sail Fish and Marlin (legendary for their fighting tactics)
Barracuda (Fiji holds the world record)
Giant Trevally, Tuna, and MahiMahi (beautiful colours, strong fighting, and delicious to eat). Fighting one of these heavyweight tropical speedsters is a fantastic experience.
