Beachfront Cottages

We have just three accommodations, thus assuring you a very private holiday. When we bought our slice of paradise we made a conscious decision to make sure we kept it just the way we would want it to be if we were here on vacation.  It was important to us that we retain the solitude and simplicity of the island way of life. People come here to unplug and unwind.

DINE

We are consistently rated as one of the best places to eat on the island for guests and non-guests alike. The restaurant is small and intimate, set on the front verandah of our island home and overlooking the ocean. It is a very special feeling that we want you to experience. We lean towards fresh fish and seafood, organically grown vegetables from our garden, and homemade pasta. We love to prepare curries and Fijian food as well, and we also serve organic grass-fed aged Taveuni eye fillets and burgers!

What we can offer you is extraordinary; diving and snorkeling, incredible nature walks, the greatest staff on this side of the Pacific, and sunrises that will take your breath away. We at Coconut Grove are devoted to this island, its people, and its traditions. These are the three main reasons that guests say they chose this slice of paradise: The soft sand beach. The fact that we are located directly on some really beautiful reefs. The privacy!

MASSAGE

Their training comes from the director of SS School of M & Natural Therapeutics. This woman has had 35 years of experience in private practice in Hawaii and California and has mastered a broad spectrum of massage techniques which she has taught her students here in Fiji.

In this country there is an abundance of natural talent in massage and the healing arts that is passed down from the ancestors, so the professional training they receive simply enhances their natural gift.

All you have to do is let us know what you want and then you show up for your special day! Since our opening in 1993, we have performed dozens of weddings right here on our secluded golden sand beach.

    Our experience at Coconut Grove couldn’t have been better – it’s an amazing place to stay. With just three bures, you’re guaranteed privacy and absolute beachfront views. That said, the highlight of the trip was the amazing staff – Esther, Bui, Sara and co were so friendly and approachable, and able to assist with just about anything. From meal planning through to organising adventures to see waterfalls or snorkeling through beautiful coral reefs, they were always there to help. We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay! I can’t recommend Coconut Grove enough, it’s a really great way to see the beauty of Taveuni (and Fiji in general).
