Nanuku Resort is proud to announce the remarkable success of its annual Pinktober Charity Lunch, which raised an impressive FJD 50,000 in support of the International Women’s Association (IWA). This year’s event doubled last year’s total, highlighting the extraordinary generosity of guests, partners, and the wider community in championing women’s health and empowerment in Fiji.
Hosted at Nanuku Resort, the Pinktober Lunch brought together guests, local businesses, and partners for a day of meaningful connection, inspiring stories, and charitable giving. Every dollar raised—from ticket sales, raffles, and auctions—was donated directly to the IWA to fund vital programs supporting women’s wellbeing, healthcare, and community initiatives across the country.
Tomasi Turukawa, General Manager of Nanuku Resort, said, “Nanuku Resort is incredibly humbled by the outpouring of support from our guests and partners. Pinktober is about coming together as a community to make a difference, and this achievement reflects the shared compassion and commitment that defines the Nanuku spirit.”
Nanuku Resort extends heartfelt gratitude to its generous partners—Tropic Magic, Rivers Fiji, Navua River Tubing, Sigatoka River Safari, Pure Fiji, and Tappoos—whose contributions made this record-breaking fundraiser possible. As part of its ongoing commitment to community and social responsibility, Nanuku Resort continues to support initiatives that promote wellness, equality, and empowerment across Fiji.
