In Depth
Aligned with Radisson Hotel Group’s global Responsible Business framework, the resort’s 2025 initiatives focused on community development, education, health, sports, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods across Nadi and surrounding districts. Health and community care remained a priority, with ongoing support provided to Nadi Hospital, including air-conditioning servicing, women’s ward washroom upgrades, maternity ward furniture, medical equipment donations, and air-conditioning units for specialist wards. Additional contributions supported disability organisations, cancer awareness initiatives, kidney health fundraising, and community wellness hubs to ensure essential services reached those most in need.
Investment in education formed a major pillar of the programme, with donations of computers, laptops, projectors, books, furniture, water projects, walkways, boreholes, and learning resources to kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools across Fiji. These contributions aimed to improve access to education, strengthen digital literacy, and create safer, more inclusive learning environments. The resort also supported youth empowerment and community connection through sponsorship of rugby, touch rugby, soccer, cricket, and athletics teams, providing uniforms, equipment, food sponsorships, and event hosting.
Environmental action and cultural partnerships completed the 2025 programme, with initiatives including mangrove planting for Earth Day, community clean-up campaigns, and sustainability awareness activities to help protect Fiji’s natural ecosystems. The resort continued to honour cultural leadership and community relationships through village support, donations to faith-based organisations, assistance to chiefs, and contributions to staff and community events, reinforcing long-standing ties with local communities.
