The custom-designed 78-foot sailing catamaran Sabre returns to the water refreshed and revitalised, ready to deliver unforgettable full-day adventures through the breathtaking Mamanuca Islands. Guests will once again enjoy a day of exploration, snorkelling, and indulgence aboard Fiji’s premier sailing experience. Coinciding with the relaunch is the debut of Sabre Sunsets, Fiji’s newest—and only—all-inclusive sunset cruise. Departing from Port Denarau every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday beginning 8 July 2025, this 1-hour and 45-minute voyage offers a front-row seat to Fiji’s spectacular sunsets over the Mamanuca Islands.
Guests will be welcomed aboard with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a selection of gourmet canapés and complimentary beverages, including bottled water, soft drinks, house wine, and local beer. As the sky transforms into a stunning canvas of colour, guests can unwind with relaxed island vibes, laid-back tunes, and live acoustic entertainment.
“After a period of exciting upgrades, we’re thrilled to welcome guests back on board Sabre for our signature day trip—and now, Sabre Sunsets adds a magical new way to experience Fiji,” said Brad Rutherford, CEO of South Sea Cruises Group. “It’s more than just a scenic sail—it’s a celebration of everything that makes Fiji unforgettable.”
Bookings are now open for both the South Sea Sailing day trip and the Sabre Sunsets cruise. With limited capacity and high demand, early reservations are highly recommended.
