In Depth
The FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels portfolio, which includes InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Grand Pacific Hotel, and Holiday Inn Suva, raised the funds during its annual ‘Movember’ campaign. The donation will support Lifeline Fiji, whose work in suicide prevention and mental health advocacy continues to play a vital role nationwide.
Colleagues and leaders across all three hotels participated in a series of light-hearted yet purposeful activities designed to encourage open conversations around men’s health. Initiatives included “Fake Moustaches” and the “Reverse Movember Beard-to-Moustache Challenge”, which helped spark dialogue and reduce stigma.
Guest-facing initiatives complemented the internal activities, with themed cocktails, spa experiences, dessert sales, and ‘Cup of Kindness’ coffee sales offering guests an opportunity to contribute to a cause of significant relevance in Fiji. The funds raised will go directly towards Lifeline Fiji’s crisis response programmes, counselling services, and community outreach initiatives, reflecting a shared commitment by colleagues and guests to strengthening mental health support and advocacy across the country.
