Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has officially unveiled its new state-of-the-art convention centre and event space, marking the completion of a multimillion-dollar transformation that positions the resort as a leading destination for business events and weddings in Fiji and the South Pacific.

Spanning 16,576 square metres, the resort features eleven purpose-built meeting and function spaces designed to host everything from corporate conferences and product launches to large-scale weddings and gala celebrations. The Crown Convention Centre is one of Fiji’s largest purpose-built venues, featuring a pillarless 925 square metre ballroom (up to 1,500 guests), dedicated pre-function areas, private entrances, and full in-house audiovisual services.

The event offering also includes Event Centre 1, 2, and 3 (each up to 448 theatre-style, 180 banquet-style, or 350 cocktail guests), ideal for concurrent sessions, exhibitions, and medium-sized celebrations. The Baravi Ballroom (up to 450 banquet guests) provides an elegant setting for major social events, with flexible walls allowing the space to be adapted for smaller functions.

Baravi 1 (up to 370 theatre-style, 240 banquet-style, or 200 cocktail guests) and Baravi 2 (up to 155 theatre-style, 80 classroom-style, or 100 cocktail guests) cater to mid-sized events and breakout sessions. For executive meetings and workshops, VoliVoli Boardroom 1 and 2 (up to 24 guests each) offer contemporary facilities with advanced conferencing technology and high-speed internet.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the centre can be configured to suit both intimate gatherings and large-scale events. The resort’s beachfront location overlooking Wailoaloa Beach provides a striking backdrop for outdoor functions, complemented by nine dining venues showcasing global flavours and Fijian ingredients, with a tenth venue scheduled to open in 2026.
